When the fruit is palletized there is less handling of the boxes, and is recommended for such destinations on which the container arrives to the port of discharge but the fruit will continue its transit via truck to its final destination. It is also commonly used in USA, CANADA, and EUROPE, where the cost of labor are high per person to manually unload the boxes from the container. When it’s a palletized shipment, the receiver uses a Fork Lift, to unload and load the pallets.

A palletized shipment holds less amount of boxes than a Break bulk shipment, and we ship 1098 boxes palletized per container.

When the fruit is packed without pallets, it is called a break bulk. A container has the capacity to load 1200 boxes Break Bulk. With break bulk shipments you are able to load more boxes in a container than palletized
